Hardy, Arkansas 72542

After high school Johnny studied and worked in computer technology in Memphis, Los Angeles, and Mississippi before moving to New Orleans and earning his D P M at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and becoming a licensed and ordained minister in the Southern Baptist Church. In 1981 he became bi-vocational, working both as a pastor and in computer operations for Levi Strauss and Co.

After twelve years of marriage, Johnny "realized the preacher and the devil could not live together. He saw the light and became a Presbyterian in 1987"; remarried in 1992; moved to Hardy, Arkansas, in 1996; and retired from Levi Strauss in 1997. He and his wife Katie own and operate the Oakwood Place Bed and Breakfast in Hardy. He also has a stained glass studio and does commission windows for houses and churches. He is a member of the Spring River Chamber of Commerce, president of the Hardy Merchants Association, serves on the Ozark Gateway Tourism Council board, and is currently running for mayor of Hardy. Johnny says he is still not old enough to be a daddy (obviously unlike the rest of us)!

NOTE: The following biographical information has gotten separated from its author. Does anyone know about whom it is written?

I drove a kiddy train for the St. Louis Zoo after being promoted from head monkey trainer. Before that I obtained a position at Weber Lanes as the head ball and pin washer. I've just returned from an 18 month vacation in Joliet at the Illinois State Correctional Facility where my friend Bubba and I received awards for making the most license plates in a 24 hour period. I am presently seeking a job career as a massage therapist.
